Lab Technician

Biology Lab Animal Technician will assist the department in a non-animal handling capacity. General duties and responsibilities of maintenance by sweeping, mopping or sanitizing floors and surfaces or equipment; cleaning and sanitizing cages according to prescribed standards and preparing cages for use as well as performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Use of rack washer and autoclaves to be included in duties. PPE will be required to be worn while performing duties.

Will be required to receive EOHS medical clearance and complete online trainings required by OACC/IACUC.

• Ability to understand and follow specific instruction requirements.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
