What You've Accomplished



  • Completion of a BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related engineering degree.
  • You have strong technical problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques, and criteria
  • Basic communication skills including the ability to comprehend, follow directions, and convey detailed technical data
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships & work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Good problem identification and resolutions skills
  • Exhibit questioning attitude and practices self-checking
  • Basic level of Microsoft Office
  • Exposure to use of CAD modeling and computer programming skills
  • Engineering organizations may have additional qualification requirements with established criterion to demonstrate success, including such items as required training courses and/or task specific qualification cards

As an Early Career I&C Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Product Development Business Line in the Instrumentation & Controls Business Unit. Your work will include:



  • R&D studies for new and updated products
  • Product development through circuit and/or code design, analysis, and testing
  • Creation of test and analysis reports
  • Product lifecycle Maintenace


This position requires up to 25% travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $65,000 - $84,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
