We're actively seeking a talented Legal Operations Analyst I to join our team in Newport Beach, CA. This role is hybrid and requires four days per week in office.

As a Legal Operations Analyst I, you'll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by providing Legal Operations and reporting for the Office of General Counsel. You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of 3 people in the Office of General Counsel. Your colleagues will include fellow Legal professionals.

How you'll help move us forward:

  • Billing and Invoicing Management: Handle routine billing and invoicing matters, liaise between vendors and various teams, and manage the E-billing platform.

  • Operational Support: Perform preliminary audits of invoices, support third-party risk management inquiries, and maintain subscriptions and memberships.

  • Mail and Subpoena Management: Oversee mail distribution, manage digital mailbox disposition, and coordinate third-party subpoena production.

  • Technical Support and Reporting: Act as a subject matter expert for Legal Tracker, produce routine reports, troubleshoot issues, and attend seminars for product upgrades.

The experience you bring:

  • Experience and Education: 2+ years in procurement, contract management, or legal e-billing, and a Bachelor's Degree with a strong academic record.

  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapt to changing priorities, and take initiative.

  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, ability to form strong business relationships, and collaborate with all levels of company personnel.

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with legal technologies and proficiency in various platforms like (Legal Tracker, Oracle, Coupa, Power BI), as well as Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)

  • Experience as a Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker coordinator and with subpoena processing, preferred.

  • Proactive initiative, exceptional problem-solving skills, and responsiveness to team and client needs.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$32.75 - $40.03
