As the Director, Marketing Communications at Crescent Electric Supply Co., you will lead the strategic development and execution of integrated marketing communication programs that support brand positioning, driving profitable sales, increasing customer engagement, and aligning to supplier partner initiatives. You will manage a team of marketing professionals and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent and impactful messaging across all channels. Primary Duties:
Develop and implement a comprehensive integrated marketing communications strategy aligned with corporate objectives. Definite messaging frameworks, brand positioning, and campaign strategies that resonate with contractors, engineers, facility managers and other key B2B audiences. Partner with category management, sales, sales enablement, and supplier partners to promote new products, services, and solutions. Oversee the development of all marketing content including sales collateral, landing pages, branch signage, conference/event messaging, Champion the development, implementation, and execution of committed supplier partner market development programs and promotions in collaboration with Executive Leadership, Sales, and Supply Chain. Build KPIs and reporting mechanisms to track marketing communication effectiveness and ROI. Ensure consistency in brand voice, voice of customer and messaging across customer touchpoints and communications. Drive integrated marketing campaigns to support customer retention, acquisition, and reactivation. Collaborate with digital teams to optimize SEO, SEM, and website content. Establish plan to use marketing automation to segment audiences and personalize communications.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: ensuring all positions are staffed by qualified and trained personnel, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Recommend merit wage increases within the established company wage structure and policy.

Knowledge of the Electrical Distribution industry and customers. Customer-centric mindset. Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams. Excellent work ethic, integrity, and competitive drive. Highly collaborative with the ability to influence without authority. Strong professional presence and ability to engage, present, negotiate, and resolve conflict. Ability to build authentic, productive, and positive long-term relationships (internal and external). Serve as a customer advocate to internal business partners and Supplier Partners. Financial acumen, experience managing and delivering results from revenue and margin levers (rebate programs, growth incentives, co-op programs, market development funds, etc.).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred. Experience in the electrical distribution, industrial B2B or construction products industry strong preferred Proven track record in developing and executing integrated marketing communication strategies. Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills with technical product familiarity. Excellent project management, interpersonal, and team leadership skills.
