Cyber Security Director

Position Title: Cyber Security Director (Network Operations and Cybersecurity Program)

Location: Washington, DC.

Position Summary: The Cybersecurity Director establishes and administers the overall strategies and procedures for the cybersecurity function across the organization. This role is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity program aligned with DoD standards, managing cybersecurity risks, and promoting a culture of cybersecurity awareness. The Director develops cybersecurity strategies and objectives, as well as budgets, policies, and procedures to support a robust cybersecurity infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishes and manages the cybersecurity program in accordance with DoD standards and requirements.
• Evaluates cybersecurity risks regularly and implements appropriate mitigation measures.
• Promotes cybersecurity awareness throughout the organization.
• Develops and implements cybersecurity strategies and objectives.
• Prepares and manages budgets, policies, and procedures to support cybersecurity infrastructure.
• Oversees the security of an integrated network as well as dispersed network groups.
• Manages a geographically dispersed workforce to ensure consistent application of cybersecurity measures.

Required Qualifications:

1. Top Secret Clearance
2. Experience managing a dispersed workforce in support of securing an integrated network and distributed networks
3. Seven (7) years of information technology experience supporting DoD efforts
4. Five (5) years of managerial experience supporting DoD efforts
5. Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field

• Advanced degree in Information Technology or related field
