GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Manager Operations is responsible for leading a production team of subject matter expert Provider Network and Agreement Administrators that performs the configuration to support EyeMed's Clients, Members, and Providers. This is accomplished by building out the network and agreement configuration for our Provider networks, fee schedules, and contracts the Plan Network and Agreement team that build out the network and agreement configuration for our Provider networks. The Sr. Manager will provide oversight and direction to the production team members to ensure KPI's/SLA's and Performance Guarantees are met. The Sr. Manager Business Configuration is also responsible for identifying, defining, and implementing new processes and technology solutions on behalf of the Business Configuration Production team.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Monitor daily team production results and trends and develop action plans to address issues impacting performance.
  • Accountable for the overall training and development of the Business Configuration production team members.
  • Partner with internal constituents to ensure their implementation requests are processed timely and accurately within established KPIs/SLAs.
  • Partner with Provider leaders to ensure Network and Agreement configuration requests are completed accurately and timely.
  • Partner with Key Account Project Managers to implement new Contractual agreement and fee schedule changes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding all aspects of production configuration procedures directly supporting the Business Configuration production team members as well as other cross-functional teams.
  • Manage the daily production pipeline and priorities ensuring work assignment outcomes are accurate and timely.
  • Responsible for the hiring and onboarding of any new production team members as well as the seasonal contractors.
  • Assist with developing the department annual budget; planning out seasonal contractor needs and identifying additional headcount requirements for Run the Business activities as the pipeline increases.
  • Represent the Business Configuration team in cross-functional implementation and project initiatives.
  • Functional lead for the Production workflow tool; Troubleshoot issues; Defines requirements and ensures that upstream and downstream teams are not negatively impacted as the tool is enhanced.
  • Manage relationships with all EyeMed business partners and serve as the key point of contact for all Production escalations.
  • Develop best practices, SOP's and document desk level procedures to be applied by the production team members in fulfilling their daily duties.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and other stakeholders, including business partners at all levels of EyeMed leadership


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous experience in managing and developing teams within Operations.
  • 5+ years' experience with Medical Plan Benefit Configuration
  • SQL and Database experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Advanced experience / knowledge in Facets
