Posting Summary
The CBE department at Rutgers is seeking an instructor to work on the development of visualization tools to augment existing curricular sequences across Rutgers New Brunswick. The candidate must be passionate about advancing the pedagogy of science education through the development of visually-rich learning materials for chemistry, biology, biochemistry, and chemical engineering. This role will focus on creating immersive educational content that simplifies complex concepts, including biochemical pathways, genetics, chemical plant processes, and organic chemistry mechanisms like SN1 and SN2 reactions. A key aspect of this position will be leveraging cutting-edge Augmented Reality (AR) and/or Virtual Reality (VR) tools to enhance student comprehension and engagement (Salary - $17,000 - July 1, 2025 - Dec 31, 2025)
