JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Cambro Segment Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing the marketing strategy and activities for Cambro's Non-Commercial Market Segments, including K-12 Schools, Healthcare, and Colleges and Universities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and implement marketing activities for all products that fall within assigned market segments throughout the product lifecycle; develop marketing campaigns, training materials, and sales collateral to support Non-Commercial Market Segments.
  • Responsible for strategic planning and project management, including financial budget responsibility for segments managed.
  • Actively participate in segment/trade associations and industry groups; responsible for marketing communication strategies and training for industry events; plan and attend trade shows, and plan and participate in virtual events.
  • Develop training collateral, videos, and online training modules; conduct Sales, Customer Service, and Customer-focused training via in-person, virtual presentations, and webinars.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales Managers and New Product Development to identify specific market needs and trends, product solutions, and sales opportunities for new products and/or existing products. Concept, write, and execute supporting marketing communications, sample kits, packaging, videos, and training materials for new and existing products within assigned categories.
  • Work collaboratively with the Digital Marketing team on marketing campaigns and new product launches, to ensure timely and consistent messaging on blogs, videos, testimonials, and social media platforms.
  • Complete detailed market research and sales analysis to identify specific market demands and customer needs; keep current on industry and market segments trends.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing Managers on various projects and marketing campaigns to support company initiatives.
  • Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual and dependable, in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
  • Execute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform the job successfully.
  • Follows all safety procedures required in the work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.
  • Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receiving and giving feedback, and treats everyone with respect.
  • Takes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects.
  • Follow all department quality standards/criteria. Raise concerns and issues with the immediate manager.
  • Able to understand and demonstrate the Cambro company culture, display company core values (Safety, Quality, Respect, and Service).
  • Understands the department's key performance indicators and contributes to achieving these goals both individually and as a team.
  • Other duties as needed or required.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Possess a full understanding of all Cambro products, including proper usage and application.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, remain flexible, and open to possible schedule changes in order to meet business needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA or BS with emphasis in Marketing or Communications strongly preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of Marketing experience required.
  • Strong written communication skills: creative writing, technical writing, presentation development.
  • Excellent presentation skills required, must be able to speak in front of groups as well as on virtual platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and financial budgets.
  • Detail-oriented; ability to multitask and handle rapidly changing priorities.
  • Must possess the ability to accept constructive feedback
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to travel overnight for trade shows and segment events
  • Reasoning ability/Communication, both verbal & written

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • CRM and/or Marketing Automation experience preferred
  • Business-to-business marketing experience preferred
  • Foodservice Experience a plus
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

COMPENSATION RANGE:

$80,000 - $85,000

Salary may vary based on experience.
