Role Snapshot

Our Government Pricing Analyst will support key strategic business opportunities through pricing and costing analyses for WPS's new and existing federal government contracts and the Data Logistics line of business. The role assists in pricing negotiations with government agencies and monitors contract modifications to ensure that pricing adjustments are accurately implemented. This position is part of the finance team and reports to the Director of Government Pricing. The Government Pricing Analyst will regularly collaborate both the federal and data logistics lines of business, as well as other shared service functions such as accounting, contracts, FP&A, etc.
Salary Range

$65,000 ~ 90,000
The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and may fall outside of this range.

Work Location

Our first consideration will be to have this new employee live in the state of Wisconsin to take advantage of Hybrid work and collaboration. Employees within 45 miles of WPS Headquarters (1717 W. Broadway in Madison, WI) will be expected to be able to be able to work Hybrid, onsite 2 days a week on a regular basis.

Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 or more years of experience in government pricing, FP&A, cost analysis, or contracts management.
  • Proficient in analyzing financial statements (income, balance sheet, cash flow) to support pricing and profitability analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills for building pricing models, analyzing data, and presenting insights clearly.
  • Strong analytical and reading comprehension skills to extract key data from contracts and reports.
  • Detail-oriented with a track record of ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies in data and reports.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with government contract and proposals and FAR/CAS compliance.
  • Understanding of federal government specific contracting (e.g., Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DoD Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)).
  • Deltek Cost Accounting system knowledge.
