We are seeking an Agile Techncial Lead to provide hands-on leadership in cross-functional software development team. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with a passion for agile principles and servant leadership. You will be responsible for technical direction, team mentorship, and delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions in a collaborative environment across multiple teams.

A current Top-Secret Clearance is required to be considered.



Responsibilities

Position Description: Agile Development Services Technical Lead - We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Agile Development Technical Lead to guide a cross-functional software development team through the full lifecycle of agile delivery. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with a passion for agile principles and servant leadership. You will be responsible for technical direction, team mentorship, and delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions in a collaborative environment across multiple teams.

Responsibilities:

    Ability to provide support services for multiple applications including custom built interfaces, ETL, and open sources applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple development teams.
  • Experience leading the following activities
    • Automated testing and delivery pipeline
    • Back-end development support
    • Cloud development
    • Containerization
    • Development and operations (DevOps)
    • Engagement management
    • Front-end development Hardware management
    • Program management
    • Security engineering
    • Software development
    • Software management
    • Systems analysis and technical evaluation
    • Systems architecture
    • Testing and validation
    • Usability and user experience engineering
  • Experience working with tools such as:
    • Angular
    • .NET C#
    • MySQL, Postrges, MS SQL
    • Elasticsearch
    • Python
    • RabbitMQ
    • Boostrap
    • Django
    • React
    • NodeJS
    • Redis
    • GraphQL
    • Svelte
    • Splunk
    • Cribl
    • Apache Nifi
    • Apache Kafka

Required Skills:

  • Active top-secret clearance.
  • 13+ years of relevant experience (a Masters degree can account for some of the required experience)
  • Proficiency in languages and tools referenced above.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example and inspire team growth.
  • Some domestic or internal travel may be required.

Preferred Skills

  • Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Developer, SAFe Agilist, or similar).
  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with automated testing and test-driven development (TDD).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC).

  • Problem Solving: Natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Ability to analyze problems and determine root cause, generating alternatives, evaluating and selecting alternatives and implementing solutions.
  • Results oriented: Able to drive things forward regardless of personal interest in the task.

Physical Requirements: These are the essential physical requirements needed to successfully perform the job.

  • Sedentary work.
    • Requires sitting up to 8 hours per day.
    • May require lifting up to 5 pounds unassisted.
    • Fine repetitive motor skills with hands, wrists, and fingers in coordination with eyes.
  • Hearing, speaking, and vision: Adequate to perform job duties and communicate in person, via video, and telephone. Includes reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
  • Other: Work may be performed in an office environment, which may involve frequent contact with staff and the public. Work may be stressful at times.
