Sr Allocation Planner

This is a hybrid role based out of our HQ office near Portland, Oregon. The expectation is for employees to be in-office 3 days or more per week, depending on business need. This in-office expectation is subject to change at business discretion.

As a Sr. Allocation Planner you will support stores through assortment and inventory management with the purpose of maximizing sales, product margins and inventory turnover. You will partner with the DTC Buying & Planning teams to develop and manage retail store allocation plans, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time. You will collaborate across several cross functional departments including Store Operations, Account Operations, Distribution, and Master Data to bring the product assortment to life.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Execute assortment by distribution of product according to plan and monitor productivity of inventory according to sales, gross margin and turnover goals for each store.
  • Responsible for overall inventory and in-stock levels for each store & product category; manage the number of options and total store capacity, new store openings and special events.
  • Maintain balance by product department according to plan or sales trend down to UPC level, including new styles and replenishment of basics.
  • Analyze sales to stock ratios to ensure proper distribution and reorder of product.
  • Responsible for the management and tracking of key items, including: tracking sell thru by store, store inventory levels, DC inventory, and future forecast.
  • Communicate with store management regarding product needs, future on order, delivery dates.
  • Communicate with DTC Buyers regarding contract levels to ensure liquidation of product according to plans and identify product opportunities and liabilities.

YOU ARE

  • Possess super organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and to meet strict timelines, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work extended hours if necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • High level communication and presentation skills.
  • Retail apparel & footwear industry knowledge.
  • Data driven mindset with demonstrated experience working with complex Supply chain data.
  • Problem Solving: Solves a variety of problems that may be somewhat difficult and varied in nature. Consults with staff members on more complex issues.
  • Decisions: Exercises judgment within defined parameters to make decisions on tasks with limited scope or complexity. Receives moderate level of guidance and direction on complex tasks.

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of professional experience in allocation/planning preferred
  • 3 plus years of experience Supply Chain
  • Apparel planning/allocation experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job.
