Salary: $52,000 per year (annualized)

Job Summary

As delegated by the Program Manager, responsibilities include scheduling, coordination and quality control to insure fulfillment of contractual obligations. Activities include management of employees, materials, supplies, records. Provide oversight of the DOT location.

Primary Duties

  • Oversee all assigned operations including supervision of employees, meeting of contractual obligations and other items as necessary.
  • Plan, coordinate, train, motivate, monitor and evaluate performance on employees.
  • Interface with contract personnel on all routine matters pertinent to contractual obligations and may provide pricing for additional services/staff or modify contract for overtime funding and contract language.
  • Interface with customers on a regular basis to solve issues that arise which may also include meeting with the appropriate staff to resolve issues and make recommendations. May work directly with customers in receiving job materials, coordinating job requirements, or meeting work completion schedules.
  • Assist in training staff in the design and implementation of goals and objectives of vocational and behavior plans, documentation and in other areas as needed.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Write employee counseling reports as needed.
  • Coordinate with Rehabilitation Counselor to solve behavior/attendance issues.
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team process and other meetings pertaining to employee goals and objectives. Provides input as needed.
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form.
  • Submit timely and accurate records and reports necessary for the operation of department and contract requirements.
  • Assist in direct operations on an as needed basis.
  • Notify appropriate personnel when materials or maintenance on machines is needed.
  • Adhere to all fire and safety, bomb threat and security protocol regulations within assigned area.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Three years' experience in postal operations required, one of which was in a supervisory capacity.

  • Ability to adhere to additional contract specifications required by the government.
