Senior Credit Analyst

A Credit Analyst II supports the commercial lending function of the Bank by analyzing credit requests for new and existing commercial clients. This experienced analyst partners with the 'internal' clients involved in the commercial lending function by providing financial analysis and support.

• Reviewing, spreading, and analyzing corporate and individual financial statements and tax returns utilizing Baker Hill and Buker's Taxanalysis applications
• Performing background investigations and ordering credit reports
• Performing global cash flow analysis, industry analysis, and interest rate sensitivity analysis
• Reviewing and understanding Credit Policy and Procedures to assess compliance and prudent underwriting parameters
• Testing financial reporting and financial covenant compliance
• Interacting with commercial lending groups
• Assisting in training new Credit Analysts as requested
• Completing ongoing training in commercial lending, underwriting, regulations, compliance, and software systems as appropriate
• Assisting in special projects, management reports and other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university
• Proficient PC skills in a windows based environment using Excel and Word required; familiarity of Commercial Credit Analysis and/or Tax software a plus (i.e. Buker Tax Analysis, WebEquity, etc.)
• Prior work and/or training of financial analysis techniques and loan structuring required.
• Prior workflow and/or staff supervision strongly preferred
