Schedule:Osaic has returned to the office on a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 4 days weekly in the office. Non-remoteemployees must be willing to work this schedule. Given the regional and travel requirements for this position, Osaic is open toremoteapplicants for this position.

Role Type: Full time

Salary: $230,000 - $260,000 per year + annual bonus

Summary:

The SVP of Digital Solutions will set the strategic digital product vision and focus on defining digital product strategy, managing the product lifecycle, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-impact solutions aligned with business goals for Osaic's financial professional and client-facing digital platforms and related initiatives and ensure their evolution fully supports the firm's key strategic priorities.

The key objective of this role is to own and articulate the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap in alignment with business priorities maintaining a customer-centric development approach for Osaic's financial professionals and their end-clients, with the goal of improving financial professional productivity and end-client engagement. This role is responsible for the strategy, execution, and maintenance of holistic wealth management digital solutions that support our financial professionals in their client engagement and delivery of a broad set of financial solutions including financial planning, brokerage, advisory, packaged products, third-party managed assets, protection, and income products. This role must also partner across the organization, with specific emphasis and alignment on our field facing teams, Advisor Experience, and Strategy to incorporate a holistic view of the customer (voice of customer), data analysis, customer journeys/personas and closed loop feedback into the product design life cycle

This role plays a key strategic and leadership role within the Osaic enterprise, as Osaic continues to refine and execute its fin-tech roadmap to reinvent and evolve the financial professional engagement points with the firm and drive improved advisor and end-client retention.

This role will manage the full lifecycle of building digital solutions including research, visioning, business case creation, funding approval, requirements development, product build, user feedback/refinement, testing and delivery.

Candidate must have experience delivering technology solutions that are leveraged within Wealth Management firms including client proposals, new account opening, fund solutions, portfolio accounting and reporting, client engagement & maintenance tools, fintech integrations, client portals, eDelivery, aggregation, mobile solutions, robo (automated) advisement, eSignature experiences, client enrollment processes, and operational workflows. The role is responsible for driving advisor adoption of digital solutions, growing Assets under management, delivering favorable economics, and contribute to advisor recruiting. The Individual must be able to successfully delegate and inspire the broader project group but also be a hands-on player-coach that contributes and fills gaps and functions as needed.

Organizational Structure and Interfaces

The SVP of Digital Solutions will report to the EVP Operations and Technology Solutions and deliver solutions to 11,000+ independent financial advisors affiliated with the Osaic broker dealers and RIAs and their end-clients. She/he will regularly interface and lead initiatives with third parties including software development companies, custody firms, and fintech providers. This position will collaborate heavily with Osaic's Customer Experience Operations, IT, Enterprise Program Management Office, Product & Platform team, Wealth Management firms and financial professionals. Will provide regular updates and presentations to the Executive Committee (EC) and Field Advisory Boards.

Responsibilities:

Digital Product Strategy & Road Map Development and Management

  • Own and articulate the digital product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Osaic's next-generation of best-in-class digital solutions and inspire and engage internal stakeholders in its execution

  • Deliver digital solutions that connect the end-client to holistic financial solutions that leverage Osaic's brokerage and investment advisory platforms while maintaining and asserting the advisor in the digital solution to drive advisor productivity.

  • Perform market research, market validation, and whitespace analysis to identify new opportunities for new and existing features and functionality

  • Understand and develop thorough business case for proposed products and initiatives, including cost/benefit estimates, market trends, competitive and risk analysis, industry best practices, and product development timelines

  • Pursue modernization of legacy process and retirement of applications.

  • Manage third party integration partners and vendors. This includes clearing firms, TAMP, workflow providers, design companies, security tools, aggregation tools, planning systems, etc.

Digital Product Development

  • Guide discovery, ideation, MVP definition and feature prioritization of the financial professional and end-client facing technology platforms, with delivery through websites and mobile applications, including Osaic's signature eQuipt platform. The eQuipt platform currently includes Client/Account Onboarding, Consumer Portal, Advisor Dashboard, and Financial Planning (contracting and payments).

  • Drive execution of the product roadmap through Agile methodologies and ensure on-time and business value delivery.

  • Employ emerging digital storytelling formats and use strategic communication channels to build a broad and influential audience

  • Develop platform solutions that help solve client needs including life stages, levels of wealth, risk spectrum, and life events.

  • Develop requirements, user interface specifications, mock-ups, and end-user goals for web products and services

  • Plan, prioritize, and manage the product features and requirements from conceptual stages through product life cycles to optimize operational and sphere of influence objectives

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Foster close relationships with all key market constituents to validate the product strategy and roadmap

  • Lead cross-functional product planning with engineering, marketing, design, operations, advisor experience and advisor engagement

  • Inform senior management of plans, strategies, issues/challenges, and progress to make sure that all stakeholders are party to decision making

  • Partner with designers, developers, and infrastructure to create innovative digital and mobile products

  • Work closely with advisor experience and advisor engagement to co-create the digital roadmap with Osaic's financial professionals and their staff

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, strategy, advisor experience and advisor engagement to ensure successful go-to-market and adoption strategies

  • Partner with privacy, security, legal, risk to ensure product decisions are compliant with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures

Team Leadership

  • Build, manage, mentor, and lead existing fixed capacity teams including product managers, product owners and business analysts aligned to digital products.

  • Foster a high-performing, data-driven, and user-centric digital product culture.

  • Responsible for budgeting, staffing, and other related resource allocation matters for the department and related projects

Data & Voice of Customer

  • Collaborate with data and strategy teams to define, track, and interpret key performance measures for senior management, and recommend appropriate courses of action

  • Partner with (Advisor facing org), Advisor Experience, Strategy, data & Analytics to incorporate voice of the customer, data analysis, customer journeys/personas and closed loop feedback into the product design life cycle

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required.

Basic Requirements:

  • 10 years + experience in the digital/technology space, managing multiple product lines or complex platforms

  • Significant background in the Wealth Management business

  • Exceptional understanding of industry-leading advisory platforms/technology, the full range of investment product solutions, and intermediary distribution.

  • Ability to incorporate industry conditions and market trends into strategies and goals for products made available to the firm's platforms.

  • Collaborates with and appreciates the needs and demands of entire Osaic organization and uses enterprise-wide mindset in strategic and business planning.

  • Extensive understanding user experience best practices

  • Experience with Design thinking and Agile development

  • A deep appreciation of the power of ideas and a passion for spreading them

  • Extensive experience synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to drive decisions for building best-in-class websites and digital products

  • Superior diplomatic and consensus building skills with a proven ability to establish effective working relationships with peers and stakeholders

  • Extensive experience defining digital journeys

  • Demonstrated knowledge of all digital channels and platforms (e.g., web, mobile, social)

  • Ability to convey technical concepts in a clear, understandable way and to translate "tech speak" into more easily comprehended terms

  • Superior leadership, management, communication, and presentation skills

  • Prior experience driving 3rd party vendors to deliver results

  • Ability to make decisions and achieve quality results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and rapidly changing environment
