How You'll Contribute:

The Electronic Security Program Manager is responsible and accountable for assigned Electronic Security projects being conducted within the framework of the larger program. The Program Manager will provide strategic and tactical guidance to the Electronic Security project team that will promote the company's culture, drive Project Management Essentials and consistency, and drive revenue growth. Monitoring and controlling Electronic Security projects throughout the project lifecycle as well as leading Electronic Security project managers to complete the projects per Scope, Cost and Schedule is a major component of this role. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. They will also develop efficient strategies and tactics to uphold client goals and objectives. The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating all resources required for each initiative, to ensure satisfactory performance.

What You'll Do:




  • Program leader and Project Manager leader for the Workplace BU Electronic Security program.
  • Provides escalation for project managers to resolve PM or client issues.
  • Provides cross region and/or specialty coordination and ensures consistent delivery processes for strategic programs.
  • Expected to provide management with instant notifications of potentially critical situations that put the project or program at risk.
  • Responsible for the financial performance of the assigned projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong communications with each project stakeholder.
  • A problem solver for foreseeable or unforeseen problems.
  • Develops and enforces standards for program playbook for delivery and implementation of the Project Manager Essentials.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Provides frequent program level reporting to the internal leadership team and the customer through program dashboards.
  • Actively supports the development of new PM tools and methods and drives implementation.
  • Manages PM assignments and workload to ensure projects are effectively and efficiently covered and maximizes utilization.



Complexity:



  • Within a program, every project is different, and every stakeholder is unique. The Program Manager needs to navigate a very complex set of variables including continuity of system designs, global project teams, overall performance quality, and a widely varying set of expectations with multiple stakeholders to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • The skill of communicating both verbally and in writing to manage all these variables takes a very high level of awareness, emotional intelligence, and people management skills. An ideal candidate would feel comfortable negotiating contracts and deliverables with both clients, internal stakeholders and subcontractors and partners within Diversified.



Decision Making Authority:



  • Takes full ownership of the program. High level of decision-making authority to ensure overall performance, quality of service and client satisfaction is met.


What You'll Bring:

Education & Certifications:



  • PMP or PgMP Preferred



Required Skills/Qualifications:



  • 3+ years prior program management experience
  • 5 + years in large scale low voltage design and integration. Familiar with cameras, card readers, and other Data Center electronic security components Strong understanding of a construction project lifecycle, with applicable planning and risk mitigation skills
  • Highly Experienced in managing and optimizing project financial performance.
  • High proficiency in schedule management.
  • Experience with managing relationships with Construction Management Companies, General Contractors, Consultants, vendor, and Architects is required.
  • Experience working in Data Centers, Construction, Healthcare,
  • Proven record of direct people management, coaching, mentorship.
  • Experience leading team hiring, performance reviews, and progressive discipline.
  • Proficient with computers and current business software applications within MS Office, especially MS Project & Excel.

  • Attributes: professionalism, self-motivation, self-discipline, attention to detail and time management skills
  • Possess advanced and sophisticated written and verbal communication skills, including ability to create briefing documentation and run stakeholder meetings, practicing the highest level of customer service.
