ARES is seeking a Project Manager specializing in Requirements Management to provide project management, requirements gathering, and facilitation for Agency Business Solutions (ABS) in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract. eMITS is the Agency's enterprise-level contract creating and delivering multimedia and technical communications through the use of the internet, digital platforms, and IT management for NASA's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of Communications (OCOMM). From photographing rocket launches and recoveries, to producing engaging videos, to information technology management, to using social media to share NASA's message, eMITS integrates services for NASA IT and provides NASA's communication to the outside world. Remote, hybrid, and onsite positions the employee bears travel costs to nearest NASA Center for badging and issue of NASA IT equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION / FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This position will include but not be limited to the following activities:
  • Provide oversight for business and technical requirements documentation, quality assurance, change management, risk, and governance.
  • Develop communications plans, calendars, and messaging around stakeholder requirements planning.
  • Provide program/project management training including conducting workshops and providing training materials.
  • Support working groups, boards, and meetings to ensure program/project management best practices are considered and policy/processes are understood and followed.
  • Coordinate and participate in events (e.g., face-to-face meetings, workshops).
  • Author professional internal and external communication (e.g., memoranda, emails, briefing materials, reports and talking points).
  • Provide meeting and content coordination, meeting minutes, and open action tracking

EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS WORK REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum education - BA/BS in Communications, Mass Communications, Business Management, Project Management, or related Field.
  • Minimum experience - 10 years.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management and Requirements Management.
  • 5+ years of business process experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in evaluating requirements.
  • 3+ years of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, One Drive), SharePoint, and Box.
  • Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP).
  • Strategy Management.
  • Tool migration experience.
  • ITIL Certification (desired, not required).
  • Microsoft Project (desired, not required).
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
