Job Summary:

Works closely with military personnel during training exercises on Polish Land Forces Army installation to perform operations and critical repair of military training aids, devices, simulators, and simulations and electronic equipment. This position is part of the mission to increase Polish Land Forces Armor capabilities by providing contracted logistical support directly to the Polish Land Army. Candidate will perform full range of repair and maintenance duties on various electronics/communications systems/sub-systems/equipment using technical documentation, experience and knowledge as a member of the Contracted Logistical Support Team. Position may require site lead responsibilities and working with local national maintainers.

Often works independently and troubleshoots electronic systems under time constraints. System includes COTs and some military unique audio, video, computer, and network subsystems/equipment. Will serve as a subject matter expert supporting both high level troubleshooting and repair, as well as providing ongoing support for the fielding, installation, and testing of systems and sub-systems as part of the Abrams tank program.

Accomplishes other duties as assigned in operational and technical support of the Polish Land Forces contracted logistical support. May include up to 25% TDY travel to other training sites within Poland. This is a SOFA status position within the Republic of Poland.

Job Duties:
*Performs installation, engineering, complex repair actions on sophisticated distributed simulation network systems, sub-systems and peripherals.*Accurately reads electronic schematics and coding in accordance with American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Standard American Equation (SAE) formats.
*Monitors and responds to complex hardware, software and network problems utilizing a variety of techniques and hardware/software testing tools.
*Requires knowledge of and provides server and workstation support for LAN/WAN networks in a multi-protocol environment using a variety of operating systems (Linux/Windows).
*Inputs data on complex repair actions performed.
*Accounts and records data on complex, sophisticated network computer simulations equipment as required to support failure analysis, engineering change, and both hardware and software adjustments.
*Diagnoses faults during training exercises.

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree with three years of related experience or equivalent work experience as listed above.

*Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a U.S. SECRET Security Clearance.*

Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance within 6-months of hire date.
