About This Role

The Department of Finance in the College of Business Administration (CBA) at K-State is seeking applicants for a 9-month term Instructor position in the Finance area. The candidate will be responsible for 100% teaching activities in the CBA. Anticipated start date is Fall 2025.

Teaching: The desired area of teaching expertise is financial services. The individual selected will teach financial services courses as a regular part of their teaching assignment. In addition, the individual should be able to teach in a supplementary area such as principles of finance.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:




  • The candidate must hold an MBA (preferred) or a Masters in a field similar to finance (if MBA, it must be from an AACSB accredited university).




Preferred Qualifications:




  • Relevant work experience in the financial services industry (banking, insurance, real estate, et al.).



  • Demonstrated ability to communicate financial concepts to an audience of students or practitioners.



  • Prior university teaching experience in finance or a related field.



  • Ability to teach in a supplementary area beyond financial services, such as principles of finance.



  • Commitment to understanding the perspectives of others both in the classroom and when collaborating with colleagues.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship.
