WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Apply customer specifications and Structural Quote Cost Worksheet (QCW) to build detailed structural drawing packages, including floor plans, elevations, part drawings, and anchor/lifting layouts.
  • Review and coordinate the structural estimator's folder for each project, ensuring all necessary documents and drawings are available.
  • Develop and revise drawings per customer specifications and internal markups, coordinating with Structural Engineers to meet code requirements and standard practices.
  • Collaborate with Electrical CAD on layout for cable tray, lighting, and ensuring accurate placement of ceiling/wall supports.
  • Work closely with the Project Management group to ensure timely receipt, review, and approval of all drawings.
  • Review and incorporate Change Orders as required for scope changes.
  • Engage with team members across departments to improve quality, reduce errors, and enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, adhering strictly to all relevant regulations.
YOU HAVE:
  • Background in structural or heavy construction related field is required.
  • Mathematical or mechnical experience is preferred.
  • 4+ years of previous experience with Structural CAD operations, particularly in crafting and revising detailed drawings is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD2025, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to clearly articulate technical details to various collaborators.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to frequent changes or challenges in customer projects.
