The West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry in the WVU School of Medicine seek a Clinical Health Psychologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of Clinical Health Psychology with. The successful candidate will have an understanding of the inter-relationships among behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and biological components that influence health and well-being. The position will include clinical, teaching/supervision, and research responsibilities.Clinical responsibilities include evaluation and treatment for both adults and children.

In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The candidate will be involved in our well-known, training-focused APA-accredited clinical psychology internship in our Behavioral Medicine Track, and our Clinical Health Psychology-Bariatric Fellowship.

Qualifications: Applicants must have a PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited graduate program with an APA/CPA-approved internship and be immediately eligible for licensure in West Virginia. For appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank, Board Certification (ABPP) as well as a demonstrated track-record of leadership, clinical and teaching excellence and scholarly activity are required. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
