Job Description

The School of Medicine Office of Faculty Affairs seeks an outstanding candidate for an Office Support Assistant IV position. The primary work of the individual will be to support the Vice Dean, Faulty Affairs Office, Faculty Development Committee Associate Deans, Faculty Council, and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.

Job duties include:

  • Preparing monthly reports
  • Scheduling meeting facilities and taking meeting minutes, preparing action items, recording and distributing minutes of Faculty Council and Faculty Development Committee meetings
  • Helping process requests for initial academic appointments and promotions, distributing correspondence
  • Assist with Dean's Office coverage
  • Miscellaneous projects
  • Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Five years progressively responsible office experience is necessary. Experience with assisting in educational research is desirable. Experienced in using PeopleSoft and the Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. Experience using scanning equipment to convert paper into digital documents is desirable.

Anticipated Hiring Range

$15.00 to $18.50 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity.
