JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Entertainment Global (FEG) and FOX Scripted Studios (FSS) are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team. This role will assist with FEG and FSS reporting and will work closely with the FP&A, Accounting, and Operations teams on various projects. The primary responsibilities include data management for financial planning and accounting activities, including the preparation of monthly forecasts, financial reports, and journal entries for the monthly close process. This role reports to the Senior Manager, FP&A. Duties may include gathering supporting documentation, reviewing contracts and accounting records, and conducting various analyses, as required.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with preparing monthly revenue journal entries and reports for divisional counterparts on behalf of FOX Entertainment Global
  • Assist with various planning exercises, such as forecasts, budgets, profitability analysis, and reporting
  • Assist with all SOX-related documentation and signoffs
  • Prepare monthly amortization, participation, and residual accrual journal entries for FOX Scripted Studios
  • Prepare revenue, participations, and residuals ultimates for newly greenlit titles
  • Reconcile financial data in the planning tool with the ERP system
  • Update revenue, participations, and residuals for 800+ active title library
  • Perform ad hoc projects and reporting as required

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • General accounting knowledge, including a strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong analytical skills, verbal and written communication skills, and the aptitude to communicate with all levels of management
  • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability, and results-oriented
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, be detail-oriented, and meet time-sensitive deadlines

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $25.75-34.50 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
