POSITION SPECIFICS The Materials Research Institute (MRI) at Penn State seeks outstanding applicants for a Postdoctoral Scholar position focused on the area of piezoelectric microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). The candidate should have experience in characterization of dielectric and piezoelectric responses, as well as considerable experience in a cleanroom, preferably with an emphasis on MEMS fabrication. Responsibilities: Education and Experience: This position typically requires a Ph.D. in Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or a closely related field. The position requires excellent organizational, time management and communication skills and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment.
