Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) is required

Summary
The Hospice Social Worker role works as part of the interdisciplinary team to provide individuals, families, and care givers with the psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses. Services include advising patients and family caregivers of community resources and supports and helping to guide individuals through the process as needed.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current Maine licensure as a LSW required.
  3. Experience: N/A
