Guest Room Attendant (Full Time)

Our Residence Inn is located in the heart of Downtown Sacramento and is surrounded by parks, shopping and several great places to eat. We offer free downtown parking to all our team members, or we are walking distance to light rail and the RT bus stops just a block from our location.

YOUR ROLE:

As a Room Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Clean guest rooms and public areas of the hotel as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming. You will change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed. Perform deep cleaning tasks, stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis. You will also dispose of trash and recyclables, Respond to special guest requests in a timely and respectful manner, and perform guest turn down service, as needed.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

In order to maintain a positive guest and associate experience, your work habits should always strive to exceed hotel standards for work procedures, uniform, grooming, punctuality,attendance, and your treatment of guests and staff. You should be adaptable in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones. You must have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something.

For applicants who will be working in California, the anticipated compensation for the position is $21.00 per hour. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
