Responsibilities: Field Operations Lead (General)- Responsible for operations aligned with VCOT/BCT-IRT Program. Works with team to deconflict and align scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance for all applicable devices with the implementation of comprehensive training programs tailored to the specific functional area at the site they are responsible for. Works with FOCUS Center Managers and Integrators/IPT Leads to resource and support surge as needed, including in support of major training exercises. Acts as a mentor and coach to field operations personnel, providing one-on-one guidance, support, and feedback. May serve as TDP Project Manager.

The Platform Coordinator shall be the single point of contact who consolidates, tracks, and reports actions and activities occurring within their assigned CCTT Family of Training Devices. The Platform Coordinator will track training events, transportation, and surge operations (if directed).

The Platform Coordinator, in conjunction with the installation's Mission Training Complex (MTC) Government staff and with installation training Units (DIV HQ or equivalent and below), shall:



  1. Conduct coordination, progressive planning, meetings, In-Progress Reviews (IPRs), Synchronization meetings, and Technical Integration Working Group (TIWG) appropriate to the Facility or Training Event(s). The Government's intent is to foster a synergistic approach that encourages, within the scope of this contract, sharing of capabilities (personnel, equipment, and expertise) across the entire organization, between facilities on an installation and between installations within the Hub and Spoke to gain cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  2. Assist the MTC Government staff in planning, scheduling, and controlling the resources allocated to meet the requirements of the TDL.
  3. Develop and maintain a master event calendar at each CCTT Family of Training Devices fix sites showing all individual and collective training events and exercises including individual, staff and unit levels. This report shall be submitted weekly via a briefing and electronic means. The CCTT Family of Training Devices master calendar will delineate, at a minimum, Battalion and above level events, any events requiring surge support, issuance, fielding, and any other events at the direction of the installation MTC Director. This report shall be submitted at the end of each week via a briefing and electronic means.
  4. Schedule and conduct unit coordination for all CCTT Family of Training Devices training events and facilities for approval by the MTC Chief or their designated representative.
  5. Recommend resolution of scheduling conflicts to the MTC Chief or their designated representative. Decisions on scheduling conflict resolutions are a government responsibility.



  • The VCOT/BCT-IRT Platform Coordinator shall have in-depth knowledge of the devices' operations, repairs and tactical operation. For the VCOT program the skills include an in-depth knowledge of gunnery at the Master Gunner level, the ability to operate the VCOT and BCT-IRTs in a training event, knowledge of ARNG training cycles and gunnery timelines.
