We are seeking an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (AME) to lead the development, optimization, and launch of complex manufacturing processes for high-precision, engineered products. The AME will act as a technical leader driving manufacturability, scalability, and cost efficiency through the early product development lifecycle into full production. This role requires a strong blend of engineering expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and operational excellence.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Lead Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews during early product design phases.
- Partner with R&D, Product Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure seamless product introductions and process scalability.
- Define, develop, and implement advanced manufacturing processes, including automation, precision machining, additive manufacturing, and emerging technologies.
- Lead process capability analysis, PFMEA, control plans, and validation protocols for new and modified processes.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions on complex manufacturing or product quality issues.
- Identify and deliver on product cost reduction opportunities through process improvements, material changes, and design optimizations.
- Lead supplier development and qualification for critical manufacturing processes and components.
- Act as project leader on strategic manufacturing technology initiatives.
- Mentor and coach junior manufacturing engineers on best practices in advanced manufacturing, lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering roles within high-precision, complex product environments (e.g., aerospace, automotive, medical devices, electronics).
- Proven experience launching new products into production, leading multi-functional teams.
- Expertise in DFM/DFA, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, GD&T, and process validation.
- Experience with automation, robotics, CNC machining, additive manufacturing, or similar advanced processes.
- Proficient in CAD tools, statistical analysis software, and ERP/MES systems.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Pay Transparency
The pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $148,300.00 - $275,300.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
