Video Editor

Job Duties: Edit and produce high-quality visual content for the various channels of company’s Boston Asian Radio and TV, and other social media platforms. Specifically,

Ø Devise and develop content strategies and plans for company’s Boston Asian Radio and TV and other social media platforms, ensuring all content is on-brand and consistent in style and quality across all platforms and channels.

Ø Use Adobe Creative Suite programs (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom) and Davinci Resolve Studio to create, produce, and edit visual content for all channels of company’s Boston Asian Radio and TV, including English News, Cantonese News, City of Boston, Boston News, and other special series.

Ø Design, create, and edit persuasive visual content for all company’s social media platforms including WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn that strikes a chord with the intended audience and unique to the typical interactions of each platform.

Ø Work closely with management to brainstorm storyboards and video concepts, ensuring all digital content is well designed and optimized to improve organic search ranking online and meet traffic and audience targets.

Ø Follow industry-related news and generate new and innovative ideas around trending topics. Stay up-to-date with latest social media best practices, technologies, trends, customer preferences, and competitors along with experimenting with new features and optimizing content to get the most out of company’s social media.

Ø Plan content budgets on a monthly and annual basis and report to company’s management team.

Job Requirements:

Ø Bachelor’s degree in Entertainment & Media Studies, Digital Media, Video Editing, or a closely related field.
