Your Opportunity:Jon Michael Design, a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking a dynamic and creative Director of Social Media + Digital to join our growing team! As Director of Social Media + Digital at JMD, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media and digital media strategy across various platforms to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and support our overall marketing objectives for both JMD and JMD clients. You will collaborate closely with our internal team to create compelling content, manage social media campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and stay updated on industry trends to optimize our social media presence.

In addition to internal work at JMD, you will support any outside client projects/requests that require social media and/or digital needs.

Yor Responsibilities:

  • Build and executes a social media strategy through competitor research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification to achieve JMD business goals
  • Responsible for creating and administering engaging content on all social media platforms to grow an audience and build brand awareness - including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and others
  • Manage and moderate user engagement and interactions across all social media channels as needed for JMD and with clients if outlined in the SOW
  • Manages a team of specialists that create social media content and campaigns. Ensures work is consistently aligned with established strategies and branding
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications to keep our strategy fresh and effective
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to plan and implement campaigns and promotions and social content and ensure timelines are met as needed
  • Analyze social media metrics and KPIs to track performance and optimize strategies to improve content and campaigns
  • Stays up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
  • Generate reports on social media performance and provide insights for continuous improvement for JMD and clients, as needed
  • Respond to customer queries through social networks for JMD
  • Work on external client projects/requests that require social/digital support
  • Identify opportunities to grow the audience and improve brand awareness; performs research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences

You Must Have:

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media + Digital Lead, preferably in a design agency setting and/or beauty centric sector - 5-7 years minimum
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms, content management, and analytics tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred
  • Certification in Social Media Marketing or Digital Marketing is a plus
  • Experience leading and directing the work of others

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $125k-$140k. The actual base salary offered depends on various factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
