Sibley Memorial Hospital is a non-profit, full service 318 bed acute care community hospital serving the Washington, DC area.Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley's campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers; and the new patient tower with 200 spacious, private rooms.

The Administrative Service Representative for the Med Surg Orthopedic unit serves as a customer service ambassador to all Sibley customers (staff, MD, patients and families) through demonstration of excellent customer service skills as outlined in Sibley's Circle of Excellence. Supports the daily operations and activity flow of the patient care area by performing administrative functions and acting as a central source of information for staff, physicians, patients, families and other departments. Consistently demonstrates strong organizational, communication and time management skills that help to facilitate a smooth functioning of the unit.

Minimum Education and Experience:



  1. High School graduate or equivalent of education and experience.
  2. Intermediate typing/computer skills
  3. Current CPR Certification required.




Salary Range: Minimum 18.00/hour - Maximum 28.48/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
