Our precision motion control systems, electro-hydraulic, and electro-mechanical technologies are critical for tactical and strategic missiles, including hypersonic and ballistic missile defense applications. In this role, you will:

  • Lead with Vision: Oversee operations and mentor teams to produce mission-critical missile steering and control systems.

  • Drive Innovation: Optimize resources and maintain production equipment to ensure rigorous production schedules and quality standards.

  • Operational Excellence: Lead your team to deliver 100% quality and 100% on-time delivery, meeting Moog's operational excellence standards.

  • Collaborate and Inspire: Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence across manufacturing, engineering, production, maintenance, planning, quality, environmental, and safety teams.

What We're Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or MS) preferred.

  • Experience: 10+ years of management experience in manufacturing environments, with at least 5 years in defense or aerospace industries.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage and mentor high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and operational excellence.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of production processes for complex defense systems, such as missile steering controls, actuation systems, or propulsion technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience with Moog's missile system technologies.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes for tactical and strategic missile programs.

  • Knowledge of electro-hydraulic and electro-mechanical actuation systems used in missile guidance, navigation, and control.

  • Experience in high-stakes production environments with stringent quality and on-time delivery requirements.

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
