Bolton & Menk is growing and we are looking for Facilities Director who will be responsible for strategic planning and operational oversight of all Bolton & Menk office locations. This role will lead the development and implementation of standardized processes for maintenance, safety, security, vendor management, and workplace experience. They are accountable for ensuring consistency in the look, feel, and functionality of all locations, supporting a cohesive and high-quality environment for employees and visitors alike.

What You Will Be Doing:


  • Strategic Planning and Oversight:

    • Develop and implement standardized facilities management policies and procedures across all locations.
    • Create long-term maintenance and capital improvement plans.
    • Manage budgets and forecast operational costs for all sites.
    • Oversee and manage Project Managers construction coordination
    • Leverage data analytics to drive operational improvements.
    • Develop a 3-year facility needs assessment and update on an annual basis for budgeting
    • Coordinate with Director of Facilities and real estate professionals to track commercial real estate trends and identify opportunities


  • Vendor and Contract Management:

    • Select, negotiate, and manage contracts with service providers and contractors.
    • Ensure vendor compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and safety standards.


  • Space and Asset Management

    • Oversee renovations & build-outs and manage office fit-outs or remodels to align with the company's visual and functional standards.
    • Monitor and track space utilization and support office moves, renovations, or expansions.
    • Develop and maintain asset inventories and lifecycle tracking for equipment and infrastructure.
    • Implement corporate design standards and ensure all locations adhere to brand guidelines for interior design, signage, furniture, color schemes, and layout.
    • Coordinate with Design Teams and work with architects, interior designers, or workplace strategists to roll out consistent design elements.
    • Maintain uniformity in office experience ensuring that employee-facing amenities (e.g., break rooms, meeting rooms, reception areas) offer a similar experience across locations.
    • Conduct regular audits or walkthroughs to assess compliance with design and branding standards.


  • Maintenance and Operations:

    • Oversee progress and quality of facility preventative maintenance programs, consistent with lease agreements and tenant responsibilities.
    • Coordinate site visits and inspections as needed with Office Managers and Facilities Project Managers.
    • Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement and corrective actions.
    • Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability programs.


  • Team Leadership:

    • Supervise regional Facilities Project Managers and/or on-site facility managers.
    • Provide training and support to ensure consistent service delivery.
    • Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and customer service.
    • Assign and delegate tasks and responsibilities to the team members.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to the team members.
    • Facilitate team meetings and communication




What We Are Looking For:


  • Bachelor's degree and three years related, demonstrated facilities management experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, mature judgment required to interact effectively with a broad range of people, including office managers, vendors and service providers, corporate leaders, and real estate professionals, both individually and in groups.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects with competing priorities, meet deadlines and project plans with short- and long-term end dates.
  • Experience working with internal and external vendors and contracting services.
  • Working knowledge of applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project.
  • Excellent business acumen including return on investment, present and future value assessment, and comprehensive financial perspective.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, time management and organizational, problem-solving skills.
  • Possess a valid driver's license as travel to various facilities and job sites will be required.


Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 depending on years of experience and credentials

Bolton & Menk is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to specific geographic location.
