Overview:

Under the direction of the Registered Dietitian and NICU liaison, is responsible for the preparation and delivery of specialty infant formulas to NICU neonates. Works cooperatively with others as part of a team; recognizes the importance of group goals. Prepares specialty formulas as directed and adheres to all sanitary regulations and standards . Provides accurate charging of formula mixtures. Interacts with dietitians, nurses, patient care unit secretaries, pharmacists, physicians and family members of patients. Assists in unit operational support tasks or duties. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent and/or current co-worker of Mercy Hospital - Springfield required.Licensure: Experience: Certifications: Successful completion of Comprehensive Food Service Santiation course.Other: Preferred Education: Preferred Licensure: Preferred Experience: Preferred Certifications:
