Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Site in Land O Lakes, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This armed post requires you to carry approved equipment and maintain a professional presence while interacting with the public. You will provide excellent customer service, respond to incidents as needed, and communicate clearly with team members. Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related incidents.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious behavior or activity observed during patrols.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
  • Document and communicate details of security-related incidents and observations to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and assisting first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Florida Armed Security Professional License.
  • Must have an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Must have an Armed Designation as required by the post or jurisdiction.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of employment.
  • Must be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program, or have equivalent experience.
  • Must possess a Corrections Officer License.
  • Must possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
