Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking dedicated RNs for a potential opening in the Extended Care Unit at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX.

Provide nursing care in an extended care setting to chronically ill or aging veterans

• Assist with ADLs, mobility, medication administration, and supportive therapies

• Participate in comprehensive care planning with interdisciplinary teams

• Ensure safety, comfort, and dignity in every patient interaction

• Participate in weekend rotation (one weekend per month)

• Current, unrestricted RN license in any U.S. state

• Minimum of 1 year of Critical Care Nursing experience within the last 5 years.

• Current ACLS certification (AHA approved) - experience in SICU, IMCU, CCU, ICU, Stepdown, or ER preferred

• Current BLS certification (AHA approved)

• Geriatric, med-surg, hospice, or long-term care experience a plus
