About the Role

The Director of Optimization will oversee and coordinate various projects within our multifamily housing portfolio. This role requires a blend of administrative and project management skills to ensure the successful execution of property management initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Property Management to drive efficiency, improve processes, and achieve strategic goals.

Project Management

  • Oversee and coordinate various projects within the multifamily housing portfolio.
  • Ensure successful execution of property management initiatives.
  • Drive efficiency, improve processes, and achieve strategic goals.
  • Manage multiple ongoing projects with varying timelines and complexities.

Technology and Process Improvement

  • Assess current technology platforms and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to design and implement new tools and systems.
  • Evaluate and optimize the use of various software and platforms to enhance efficiency.

What You'll Need

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the property management or real estate industry OR a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role in property management.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of property management principles and practices

Estimated Rate of Pay:

$140,000.00 - $160,000.00

This position is exempt; the range above reflects annual salary.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any). In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:

* Pay range is a calculation based on a midpoint price. Fairfield complies with all wage and hour laws, including minimum wage and salary exempt requirements.
