We're seeking an experienced Lead Millwright to join our team and oversee our client's crew responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who combines technical expertise with a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship.

Schedule: 2/2/3 (12-hour, 7AM - 7PM and 7PM - 7AM)

Pay: $32/hr.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead, train, and supervise a team of millwrights, assigning daily tasks and ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Plan and execute preventative maintenance, mechanical repairs, and installations across a variety of mill equipment.
  • Read blueprints and technical manuals to troubleshoot and diagnose issues using precision tools.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate shutdowns, installations, and workflow optimization.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation for all maintenance activities.




Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
  • At least 2 years as a lead millwright and no less than 5 years as a millwright; prior leadership experience required
  • Strong mechanical skills, including knowledge of pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems
  • Forklift certification and valid driver's license
  • Ability to read schematics and use measuring tools with accuracy
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Journeyman Millwright certification
  • Experience with CMMS systems
  • Welding and fabrication certifications
