Manager, Desktop Operations (IT)

This position is responsible for overseeing day to day operations and strategic planning within Desktop Operations lane of Information Technology.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reports statistical performance information regarding service levels to leadership
• Manages to budget
• Regularly reviews policy, process and procedure for efficiency and adherence
• Partners with other support organizations to improve customer experience
• Manages supervisor performance
• Oversees overall team performance
• Strategic planning and team goal setting

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma
• College education or equivalent job experience
• Proficient with MS Office applications
• Customer Service experience in a Support environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
• Ability to analyze complex problems, use problem solving skills to resolve them, request assistance and work with outside groups when appropriate to resolve
• Advanced interpersonal skills
• Ability to document and adjust process and process flow
• Industry certifications helpful (A+, HDI etc)
