JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Flow Acoustics department of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking highly a motivated undergraduate student to work within a team environment on research and engineering opportunities to assist with building and conducting aero-acoustic and boundary layer receptivity testing in a flow-through anechoic chamber. Desired Qualifications:
Successful candidates will work 40 hours/week over the summer and up to 10 hours/week during the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semester. You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen. Your working location will be in State College, PA with project-dependent ability for hybrid work.
