Temporary Laborer

Bishop Waste, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a Temporary Laborer to work out of our yard located in Bishop, CA!

The schedule is subject to change based in business needs, but will most likely be Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm.

Starting pay is $25 per hour. The pay range for this job category is $25 - $26/hour.

This is a great opportunity for full time, year round work! We offer family benefits, 401k with a match and paid vacation.

In this position you will be working very independently. You will becleaning and repairing the portable toilets. Must have the ability to stand and do physically demanding work throughout an 8 hour shift.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and repairing the portable toilets
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• Cleaning, sweeping and pressure washing equipment
• Heavy lifting of equipment and material
• Other laborer duties assigned like painting and welding
• Learn to operate forklift and bobcat

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Positive attitude
• Ability to stand throughout an 8 hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs pounds
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
