We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President to join our Digital Assets Production Services team. This role is located in New York, NY - ONSITE (4 days in office required). In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Business knowledge of Digital Assets, Cryptos, Wallets (Hot/Cold), MPC, Smart Contracts, DeFi Apps, and Blockchain technologies.
- Collaborate with business and application development stakeholders and monitor application changes and their operating environment.
- Lead production readiness reviews and validate supportability of changes before production.
- Strong SQL skills (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). Hands-on experience with scripting/programming languages (Python, Perl, Shell scripting, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab). Familiarity with monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Prometheus, Splunk, Cloud Prober, MoogSoft, or equivalent).
- Experience automating deployments and repetitive tasks in time-sensitive projects.
- Support activities like platform administration, deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting incidents.
- Experience with external (Azure preferred) and internal cloud.
- Working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience in vulnerabilities management. Ability to produce detailed system documentation, including operational specifications, test plans, and system architecture.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred10-12 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Ensure the operational stability of platforms in the production environment.
- Introduce new automation procedures to enhance the speed and quality of engineering efforts.
- Administer and manage configuration management tools.
- Oversee software builds and release management, including scripting/automation of the build process and creating beta and formal versions of the application.
- Translate development team requirements into application/system configurations.
- Manage software configuration, including defect management and participation in the software change control board.
- Utilize systems and networking knowledge to identify and resolve application problems.
- Continuously manage performance by measuring it and collaborating with developers and QAs to improve it.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, development architects/managers, and developers across locations to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop quality frameworks to provide feedback loops to developers for easier and improved contributions.
- Manage vulnerabilities, including patching systems and implementing security controls.

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $122,000 and $170,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
