The primary responsibility of the Cash Disbursement Supervisor is to perform duties and supervise staff to enhance and monitor Cash Applications and Remittance processing for PharMerica's LTC business. This is a remote position. Applicants can live any where within the continental USA. Schedule: Monday - Fridy 7:00am - 3:30pm Mountain Time Must be able to work effectively in Mountain Time Zone. Responsibilities
* Works with federal, state and third party reimbursement sources to ensure compliance with third-party reimbursement policies, contractual terms and regulatory requirements for all payers are filed. * Works with Manager of Cash Processing and Cash Associates in managing cash applications to A/R to maximize timely cash collections, minimize write-offs and coordinate activities of associates across billing, reporting, collections, cash controls/applications functions. * Works with other AR departments and Accounting in managing cash application and reporting functions, ensuring policy consistency between division/company; and that these activities are in compliance with the Consumer Credit Protection Act of 1977. * Works with Manager of Cash Processing in managing cash processing center operating and wage and related expenses to established budget guidelines. * Works with Manager of Cash Processing in managing associates to the level of performance expected by PharMerica. * Performs other tasks as assigned. * Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards. * To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Qualifications
* Education/Learning Experience * Required: Associates Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management or related field or Equivalent experience. * Desired: BS/BA Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management * Work Experience * Required: Minimum 3-5 years billing experience and/or collections experience; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Team leadership skills; must be capable and willing to train and/or mentor others * Desired: Minimum 2-3 years supervisory experience (healthcare provider preferred). Third Party Billing or collections/billing experience in the healthcare industry; AS400 computer experience * Skills/Knowledge * Required: 10-Key by touch, data entry, MS Excel and Word and basic computer knowledge * Desired: Medical billing and coding, Supervisory Skills
