POSITION SPECIFICS The College of Information Sciences and Technology at Penn State is seeking an Instructional Designer to join their collaborative, cross-functional Office of Learning Design (LD). The Office of Learning Design supports courses delivered in-residence, online, and in other formats. Our designers collaborate with and aid faculty with the development, revision, and delivery of their courses. We offer faculty development in a variety of formats and venues. MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS Master's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience Required Certifications: NonePreferred Skills: Familiarity with current learning management systems (e.g., Canvas), generative AI tools, accessibility standards and remediation, and quality frameworks (e.g., Quality Matters) is desirable. Experience with faculty development and teaching is a plus.
