Inventory Clerk

Staffmark is seeking a reliable and motivated Inventory Clerk for a great opportunity in Baton Rouge, LA. This full-time, entry-level position is ideal for someone with basic computer skills and strong attention to detail. Pay: $16.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Track, distribute, and collect uniforms while maintaining accurate inventory records
• Monitor and report inventory levels, shortages, and maintenance concerns
• Coordinate daily activities to ensure productivity and quality standards
• Submit purchase requisitions and assist in tracking departmental orders
• Work with HR and department managers to manage uniform updates and replacements
• Maintain knowledge of wardrobe policies and ensure compliance
• Support receiving department with purchase verification
• Report safety concerns to supervisors as needed

Qualifications:

• Entry-level (minimum 1 year of computer experience required)
• Basic understanding of inventory systems or similar software
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Light lifting required
• Strong communication and recordkeeping skills
