Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a Lead Connectivity Architect to innovate and optimize our global technology landscape. If your interests include networking architecture, strategic alignment, and emerging connectivity solutions, this position may suit you well! Own key architectural responsibilities, shaping technology strategies, modeling the technology capabilities and technology landscape, defining standards, roadmaps and reference architectures, driving modernization of connectivity. Architecture (PLAN): *Define and maintain technical blueprints, reference architectures, and standards. *Ensure enterprise-wide integrity in connectivity architecture. *Guide domain owners and solution architects in technology selection alignment and best practices. *Maintain oversight across connectivity domain for technology simplification and modernization. Best Practice & Knowledge Sharing: *Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies. *Mentor architects on best practices and professional growth strategies. *Provide knowledgeable technology guidance to ensure innovation and efficiency. Architecture (BUILD): *Collaborate on projects to integrate innovative networking solutions. *Evaluate and approve complex, high-impact solutions. *Manage proof-of-concepts and pilot implementations. *Develop technology roadmaps and high-level designs. *Contribute to RFP/RFQ processes, validating and evaluating proposals. Governance & Strategy: *Ensure compliance with IS processes and governance frameworks. *Develop strategic architecture roadmaps in collaboration with corporate IS teams. *Engage stakeholders, bridging business needs with technical solutions. This role offers the flexibility to work from your current location, eliminating the need for relocation. Qualifications for the role
- 10+ years in connectivity architecture, implementation, or engineering.
- Proficiency in SD-WAN technologies, NaaS, and multi-cloud networking solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of WAN transport systems, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Experience with large-scale LAN/WAN design & implementation.
- Understanding security technologies, including Cisco and Checkpoint firewalls.
- Familiarity with network load balancing (BIG IP F5), cloud proxy solutions, and VoIP.
- Practical experience with SDN, network automation and IaC.
- Capability to design and evaluate architectural frameworks.
- Proficient problem-solving skills with a keen focus on optimization.
- Experience in global project execution and technical evaluation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
- TOGAF or similar architectural framework experience.
- Fluency in English with advanced interpersonal skills.
