JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting our Hospitality & Facilities Manager with food preparation and service to internal Team Members and special events in multiple locations. Responsible for producing meals with consistency and with a sense of pride in a safe manner. The role is grounded in our Company's Core Values:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Be knowledgeable of and follow all safe food handling procedures.
- Clean and prepare kitchen and common areas for food service activities to all cleanliness and safety standards.
- Lead all meal preparation activities for lunch wagon service to include safe operation of all kitchen appliances and tools to include, stove, oven, knives, small kitchen appliances etc.
- Lead supply ordering functions and meal planning.
- Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle to all legal and internal standards.
- Must be able to stand for up to eight hours, lift and carry up to 50 pounds and safely operate all kitchen equipment.
- Sources new food vendors, as necessary. Vendors and products must be suitable for standards set forth by the company.
- Active in Team Member culture events that require kitchen assistance.
- Participates in special projects and handles all other assigned duties as required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Restaurant/catering experience preferred.
- Patience and good communication skills required.
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving history.
- Basic computer skills, to include Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Ability to remain standing / walking a minimum of 90% of the scheduled workday.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and greater.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours and off hours, as needed.
- Knowledgeable in food safety regulations, ServSafe certification is preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This job operates in a physical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands, arms and fingers to handle and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
