Position Summary
Join an innovative team to ride the rapidly-evolving and highly dynamic wave of AI, ML, and Generative AI. We are seeking a Data Product Manager to drive the strategy, development, and execution of our data products. In this role, you will work at the intersection of data, technology, and business to build scalable and durable data solutions that drive insights, innovation, and business growth. You will oversee the development of a data product portfolio, ensuring that products are consumption-ready, kept up to date, and approved for use. You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure our data products deliver maximum value. The Data Product Manager is responsible for conceiving and planning how data products will be consumed, ensuring alignment with business needs. This role involves collaborating with partners to ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and data governance requirements while defining nonfunctional requirements such as shareability, reusability, concurrency of access, performance, refresh rate, etc. The Data Product Manager works closely with existing teams like data owners, stewards, and custodians for optimal product delivery of data products such as Customer and Employee for Master Data, and Cash Forecasting for Insights-based analytics. LOCATION: Role provides the opportunity to work in hybrid environment, working both virtually and in office when required.
Duties And Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL:
- Define the vision, roadmap, and strategy for data products to align with business goals..
- Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, analysts to develop and enhance data platforms, APIs, and analytical tools.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to development and iteration.
- Translate business needs into detailed product requirements ensuring usability and scalability.
- Establish KPIs to measure success and impact of data products.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy/security policies while maintaining high standards of data governance.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, effectively communicating data capabilities and opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management, AI/ML, and analytics.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3-5 years relevant experience in product management, data analysis, or a related role
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of data science techniques and data engineering processes
- Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly and work in a collaborative team environment
DESIRED:
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Experience with Generative AI tools like Microsoft Copilot and Open AI.
- Experience with data monetization.
- Exposure to data governance, security practices, and best practices for managing data products.
- PMP certification.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Broad understanding of data science, data engineering, AI, and machine learning.
- High attention to detail to ensure data integrity and quality.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Additional Information
This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
