We are seeking a talented and drivenSoftware Engineerto become an integral part of our Lynx Engineering team which is instrumental in developing and optimizing our healthcare SaaS technology inventory management system and analytics solution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in software development and a passion for advancing healthcare technology. As aSoftware Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement robust software solutions that are crucial to our clients' success and the advancement of healthcare technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions tailored to satisfy business needs.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Java and JavaScript adhering to industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to define, design, develop and test features and bug fixes.
  • Develop and maintain backend components using Spring Boot.
  • Create responsive and dynamic user interfaces with React.
  • Create dynamic complex SQL queries.
  • Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to align project goals.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and performance issues promptly.
  • Work closely as part of an agile team with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to deliver innovative healthcare solutions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in healthcare software development.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance skills.
  • Contribute to the optimization of development processes and tools for efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough unit tests, to ensure software reliability and compliance.
  • Adhere to compliance, healthcare regulations and security guidelines

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

Critical Skills

  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • 4+ years of Java experience
  • Proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with Spring Boot for backend development.
  • Experience with Microservice architecture
  • Experience with Cloud (Azure or AWS)
  • Familiarity with React for front-end development.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
  • Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX.
  • Familiarity with RESTful services and APIs.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Familiarity with integrated development environments (IDEs) such as IntelliJ IDE, Eclipse, or Visual Studio.
  • Experience working in agile team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse technology environments and work across different time zones.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Experience in Healthcare domain/compliance solutions is a plus
  • Familiar with cloud technologies, preferably Azure is a plus.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$117,600 - $196,000
