Job Title: Supplier Quality Assurance Location with zip code: Kinston, NC 28504 Pay Rate: $33-$37/hr on w2 Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night: 1^st shift; 8am-5pm Duration: 6 -12 months Job Description: Plans, organizes, and conducts audits, surveys, and inspections. Monitors and reports on supplier quality-related activities to verify Quality System, product and contract, or purchase order compliance. Prepares, maintains, and reviews procurement quality procedures to ensure compliance with customer and government requirements. Represents the company with suppliers. Conducts training programs and coordinates company initiatives to develop and improve supplier performance and productivity Provides technical expertise to company employees, suppliers, customers, and regulatory education and coaching on the Quality System. Ensures that suppliers manufacturing and Quality System, special processes, and products meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations. Ensures that suppliers document and maintain an approved Quality System to meet the appropriate company or customer requirements. Requirements: Number of years of experience required: 10 years with SCM or SQA experience with at least 5 in Supplier Quality Top 3 skills you will be looking for: Experience dealing directly with suppliers on quality approvals and resolving quality issues Strong understanding of quality assurance and root cause analysis processes Skilled at confronting issues professionally and driving to effective control of quality problems. BA degree, a requirement? BA preferred. Working shift Mostly 1st shift but may require flexibility to deal with suppliers in other time zones. Also requires travel for on-site audits.
