Painter - 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM; Friday 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Starting Pay: $19/hr.

What You'll Do:

As a Painter at LaForce, you'll be an essential part of the production process, working with hollow metal frames, doors, and components. Your day-to-day will include:

• Prepping and painting frames and components using airless and pressure-pot spray systems.
• Applying glazing bead to door frames using powered tools.
• Reading and interpreting shop orders and drawings to meet job specs.
• Operating hand and power tools (sanders, grinders, saws, etc.).
• Moving materials safely with forklifts and other equipment.
• Keeping the painting and glazing areas clean and well-stocked.
• Assisting in warehouse operations including loading/unloading and inventory.

What We're Looking For:

• A high school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Some experience with painting, manufacturing, or related trades.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, safety rules, and manuals.
• Forklift certification (training provided).
• A team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working with tools and equipment on your feet all day.
